The front side of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ. On the back is the text of the chant read during the Feast of the Exaltation of the Honest and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord: “The cross is the guardian of the entire Universe, the cross is the beauty of the Church, the cross is the power of kings, the cross is affirmation of the faithful, the cross is glory to the angels, the cross is a plague to demons.”
