The front side of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. On both sides of Christ stands in prayer the Most Holy Theotokos and St. John the Baptist. At the top, on the ear of the cross, there is an image of the Holy Trinity. On the reverse there is an image of the seer of the Holy Trinity, St. Alexander Svirsky. He is one of the few saints in the history of the Church to whom the Trinity appeared during his lifetime. Nearby is a prayer to this great miracle worker: “O Reverend Father Alexander, with your prayers preserve us in this life.”
